The History of Prime Energy Investments

Prime Energy Investments is a relatively new company. It began in earnest in February 2008 with the Joint Venture partnership between International Consultancy Europe BV and Pon Group .

International Consultancy Europe provides strong financial solutions to sustainable conservation, clean energy, biodiversity protection, and ecotourism projects.

PON Group is an international trading company from the Netherlands involved in a wide range of activities in two sectors: 1) Equipment and power supplies and 2) Automotive imports and distribution.

Since 2005, PON and ICEBV have worked collaboratively on developing and financing renewable energy projects. Together they worked as transaction advisors on a 2MW rice husk biomass power plant in Cambodia and a 10 MW rice husk biomass plant in Can Tho, Vietnam.

In 2008, after three years of project-based experience they formed the joint venture, Prime Energy Investments to enter the market as equity investors. The mandate was set out to develop and finance clean energy and energy efficiency projects in Southeast Asia.

In late 2008, Timevest , the family investment office of the Multi Group Corporation joined as additional partners in PEI. The company now benefits from a diverse set of expertise and strengths.
