PEI management team is organized as follows:

Investment Manager – Gijsbert Nollen

Gijsbert holds a Masters in Law from Leiden University, and now focuses on project management and development as his professional specialty. He has nine years of work experience in Asia, seven of which were with International Consultancy Europe BV in Sri Lanka, where he headed and directed the local office and projects.

Senior Investment Director – T. David Hodgkinson

David Hodgkinson is co-founder and executive director of Emerald Capital Asia. Previously, he was a senior executive at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, and a senior staff member at the World Bank in Washington DC and overseas. David holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a graduate degree in development economics from the George Washington University and an MSc from the College of Tropical Agriculture, University of Hawaii (where he was an East-West Center Scholar). He graduated from the University of California, with an undergraduate degree in Political Economy. A highly experienced financial executive, he has originated, structured and managed numerous investments in Asia and other regions. He is now overseeing and advising on deal structuring for Prime Energy Investments.

Business Development Manager – Austin Arensberg

Mr. Austin Arensberg is a specialist in renewable energy project development. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Science and Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Austin conducted water management research with the National Science Foundation in Shaanxi and Ningxia provinces in Western China in 2005. From there he worked in a community and environmental NGO in northeastern Thailand and then joined the Post-Graduate Princeton-in-Asia Program with the World Conservation Union, Thailand Program in 2006, serving for a year as a Program Officer conducting projects across the coast of southern Thailand. Austin focuses on developing and sourcing PEI’s Renewable Energy project portfolio and marketing campaigns. Mr. Arensberg recently became a LEED AP.

Financial Analyst - Kanoknun Buranapunsri

Khun Kanoknun has a B.A. from the University of Bangkok in Economics and two Master degrees one from University of Baltimore in Finance and another from University of Sheffield in England in Econometrics. In her previous work she led capital budgeting and property project financial analysis and spent a year as a corporate and government bond trader in a securities firm in the Thai market.

Financial Analyst - Wipavee Chanwigoon

Khun Wipavee has a Masters in International Economics and Finance from Chulalongkorn University and a B.A. from Thammasat University in Finance. She has previously worked as an investment banker helping prepare companies for listing in the Stock Exchange Thailand (SET). In 2004, Khun Wipavee became a certified financial adviser representative in Thailand.

Company Administrator – Thanomsub Klaikaew

Khun Klaikaew oversees daily administration of Prime Energy Development’s transactions, HR, and administration duties. Khun Klaikaew is a current Accounting Masters student at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
